» When // 3pm Wednesday, 11 October 2017

Coinciding with Good Money Week, the event aims to raise awareness of impact investing and its focus on addressing major social and/or environmental challenges while at the same time generating financial returns. It aims to help advisers increase their confidence in promoting this rising asset class to their clients.

Throughout the day attendees will hear from:

» Damien Lardoux (you can watch a video of Damien here) //  EQ Investments

» Simon Bond // Columbia Threadneedle Investments

» Hamish Chamberlayne // Janus Henderson.

Each manager will discuss their investment process, provide case studies showing the benefits of an impact based approach to portfolio management.

The 90 minute session is designed to help advisers to begin to make Impact Investing a core part of the conversation when speaking with clients about their investing preferences. EQ will tackle the common challenges advisers face, offering new ideas and practical tools they can adopt with clients.

Damien Lardoux, Portfolio Manager at EQ, said:

“The impact investing sector continues to witness impressive growth but remains overlooked by the vast majority of financial advisers. This seminar is an opportunity to spread the word and raise awareness of both the positive impact element and the financial return of this approach.

“With the transfer of wealth from baby boomers to their children, clients of the future will demand impact and advisers need to be ready.”
